December's Mini quilt

December's mini used up the last of all the cut-off flippy points of the stars from last year's Christmas quilt, below

Here's December's mini

which very closely resembles last January's mini

and February's

Now the swiffer box of tiny red and white triangles is emptied, as well as all those much-loved  bits of Quaker red prints used in the borders of each of the minis.  I'll link this post with Wendy at The Constant Quilter when she posts her month-end roundup of mini quilts.  Thanks Wendy for another year of fun little quilts!

Now, on to the new year ahead!

Very very pretty! What a fruitful box of triangles you had!

Such sweet minis, each alike but different. How are you going to display them? Will they be all together?

I love your minis - red is my favorite color!

Perfect use of the cut-offs! And I love seeing the three sister creations together here. Wonderful effect with the narrow black inner borders and the black binding. Very striking!

There seems to be a trend here, or an addiction to little HSTs. Hey, I am not judging as I seem to have the same addiction lately, lol. Your minis are all wonderful and I love that quilt too. Isn't fun to have an empty box? Enjoy! ;^)

Mine too, I always had red print cotton dresses when I was little!

What a wonderful series of red and white hst's. I love the fact that you made 3 over time and even emptied the Swifer box! Super sweet.

It's such a good thing that the hst were not wasted. All the little quilts are wonderful. I love the reds!

Excellent use of those “waste” triangles, Pat! And to think some people actually throw those things away!

You've created a really nice series of little quilts and it must feel great to use up the little scraps. Red and white is so classic!

Wowzer! It always amazes me what you can make with your leftover pieces. This one is over the top! Thanks for another great mini. I wish you the best New Year ever!

Oh, what a wonderful red and white December mini and I love seeing this series in one post. It was a great way to use up those triangle snips. Red and white is such a winning combination and so festive!

There are more HST's where these came from, different colors and sizes, but a quilter is never truly done with these little bits!

They are all adorable! Great way to use the tiny HSTs! I have a lot of them that I need to use as well. They make great borders too.

I'm so glad you can make small quilts like these, and have a place to use them. Noting your use of red, I can say that's a color low in my scrap bin, as is purple. But I've got way too much of other colors. I keep plugging away at scrap projects. By the way... thanks for the link to the oven mitt pattern. I made one and it met with hub's approval. I'll be making more.
