October's Circles - Quilty 365

Nearing the finish line with only eight circles left to make in November - hooray!!  Election Day will mark the end of my Quilty 365 (or 366) circle-making marathon, then it's on to setting them together.
October's circles

I've pretty much decided that my circles will be set on point but still deciding whether to frame each square with a narrow sashing.

Last month I was hoping to find a fabric depicting an Australian Shepherd dog resembling our family dog, and ended up ordering a sample piece of a fabric from Spoonflower.  I'm quite pleased with this circle and think it depicts our Olie rather well.

Critters of all kinds abound in my October circles.

I think this is going to make a splendid I-Spy quilt for the guest room bed.  Though it became tedious at times, I'm happy that I persevered through an entire year and that so many others have as well! Linking up with Audrey who started it all ...

I love your circles! I think sashing would be a lot of extra work, but would be stunning! I'm so glad I stuck to this project, too!

Those critters are so sweet in your circle blocks! I like the on-point idea too. Have fun putting it together, and congrats for the finish being in sight!

I enjoy seeing your circles. Love all the little woodland creatures in this batch. The one depicting Olie is sweet...so is Olie! During my teenage years on the ranch, we had an Austr. sheepdog named Bandit - mostly white with black over her eyes...so long ago I can barely remember but I do have a picture or two somewhere.

They look good on point, and I love the critters. I want to come stay in your guest room when it is finished so that I can play "I Spy"! : )

I love, love, love this! Believe me, I have been tempted to join in but had resisted as I didn't want to set myself up for failure if I fell behind. Seeing yours, almost done, has tempted me all over again. Your work is lovely, have you hand appliquéd all the circles? All of the animal faces are so precious; well done!

Love the little woodland creatures! And your doggy circle is perfect! I was lucky that pugs are quite ''common'' as a fabric motif. Spoonflower is an excellent alternative. Your real life Ollie is beautiful.

The fussy cutting makes such interesting circles; it looks fabulous, and I can't wait to see your finished top. Congrats to you for keeping up with this project, it's hard to believe we started this almost a year ago.
