I don't know about others, but my scrap bins are just about depleted of conversation prints after passing the half-way mark in this year of circles. A fabulous quilter's yard sale would go a long way toward fixing that dilemma! Not that I don't actually have scraps (as if), it's just that I've already cut a circle out of all the ones I really like and want to make an appearance in this quilt!
A couple momentous days happened in May:
News of a new grandbaby on the way!
A "Really Big" birthday
Linking up with Audrey at Quilty Folk, who started this whole Quilty 365 adventure!

Looking gooooodddd....I'm thinking of jumping in a creating a summer series of circles. Love yours!!
ReplyDeleteThose are so great.
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, love them all.
Have a great day!
Great circle blocks! We have been busy too and in a couple weeks we will go to FL to help DS#2 move up here!!! He has a job as an RN at the local hospital and we're very excited.
ReplyDeleteOh you have some fun blocks...all adorable but that cupcake is my favorite :)
ReplyDeleteYay for hanging in there - great cirlces! I have some scraps of the dragonfly fabric, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy cute fabrics. Keep going!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new grandbaby! Love your circles!
ReplyDeleteYep I'm too close to running out of scraps I want to use :) Love the cherries :) Some really big memorable occasions this month for you :) Those pieced backgrounds are really fun!
ReplyDeleteWell done on keeping the circles ticking over. You have some great fabrics here. Will you repeat or use ones you don't like so much next? I'll cross my fingers for a quilter's yard sale for you!
ReplyDeleteI love checking in on your circles, they are always so well thought out.
ReplyDeleteHow exciting to have a new grandbaby on the way!
ReplyDeleteAnd kudos for keeping up on the circles!
I had to start sewing some of the smaller pieces together to make circles and now the whole has a very patchwork look, which I don't mind. You are so good to keep up; I'm behind because I got the bright idea to add an embroidered stitch or two to each. Oh well. Love your circles and background cloth.
ReplyDeleteSome very cute fabrics in your circles.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about searching for fabric, even with a stash on hand. Its about finding THE fabric on THE day, yes?
ReplyDeleteLove the reasons behind some of the choices. It makes it so personal.
You have so nice memories on your circles!
