That says a lot for quilts since my alcoholic mom didn't enjoy much of anything. I use phone book pages and usually pick the papers off while watching TV. I think spring has finally sprung here - it's supposed to get up to 80 this week!Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11912222251238739813noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898155445938416840.post-11285711335428172572017-04-30T00:55:32.333-04:002017-04-30T00:55:32.333-04:00I'm not a hugely experienced quilter but I mad...I'm not a hugely experienced quilter but I made a string-x quilt (with 8" blocks0 and didn't use papers. I use old sheets for the foundation for strings, it adds a little weight to the quilt, but I like that and the sheets are easy to find at the thrift stores for cheap.Dana Gaffneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02023202806714127984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898155445938416840.post-30651142592680926062017-04-29T05:01:18.026-04:002017-04-29T05:01:18.026-04:00Oh, I love the quilt. It's fun to pick papers off while watching the telly.... for me anyways. Though I foundation piece minis now and then, after one full size quilt that needed papers removed, I decided not to do that again. : )Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.com
