Your second quilt -- gosh, I love plaids. Those half-triangle squares sure pack a punch when they are set the way you have them. I think the back fabric is terrific.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136584654825212359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1898155445938416840.post-3269594929311255112017-11-14T21:52:50.950-05:002017-11-14T21:52:50.950-05:00I'd be on the first plane out of there if it w...I'd be on the first plane out of there if it was 17 degrees outside. And any quilt with shirts seem so vintage-y to me since my grandmother used to make all her quilts from old clothes. There's something very inviting about men's shirt plaids. And that sure is a lovely back and a very unusual batik. What to put on them? And hate to use the "good stuff." Then I realized it's all good stuff. I'm trying to make better stories (or at least better cohesion) of the back pieces. Your border of the back is a great match for the center. What am I waiting for?<br />That batik makes me think of some designs on fabrics my brother brought back from a mission in Thailand many years ago, but it is probably not related in any way--just what it brought to mind.Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.com
